Hello there, I’m Júlio Pradera, a web-developer based in Canada.
I have extensive experience in website and online systems development
and customization. Also I am good at HTML, JavaScript,
CSS, PHP and SQL.
I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Coming from a family without many financial resources, from an early age I had to learn to make my own opportunities.
When I was 11 years old, I started studying web development and it was love at first tag.
Since then, I have dedicated myself to learning more and more in a self-taught way. I not only improved my knowledge in web development, but I also expanded into other areas, such as game development.
I have spent countless hours creating private servers from Tibia, Ragnarök Online and MU Online. Amid the codes, my creativity saw freedom, always creating things that did not exist in the official versions. New items, new spells, new creatures, new scenarios...
This allowed me to participate in several online forums, where I started to share knowledge with other developers.
Because of my organization and extremely detailed tutorials, at the age of 14 I was already a moderator in some of these forums, being responsible for organizing the community and approving the posts.
At that time, I had no idea of the real impact that everything here would have on my future. I was just having fun.
When I reached adulthood, I started my first job as a full stack developer. Although it was only the beginning of my career, it was my most challenging job and where I learned the most.
The company had a strange policy of not using any external code. Everything within the main system needed to be written by the company's developers, which made it impossible to use the most common libraries, like jQuery. Because of this, the system was stopped in time.
I then decided to open these libraries to learn how they worked, thus being able to replicate any function or effect, which also allowed me to use creativity to program my own libraries, to solve any pitfalls.
Because of my desire to always grow and create new things, this strange policy, which was limiting the evolution of the system and the other developers, was exactly what made me as resourceful as possible. What caught the attention of the CEO, who started to place more trust in me and give me more responsibilities, like giving me new projects and allowing me to lead a team.
Since then, I have been constantly looking for new challenges that will help me to grow more and more.
